Mr. Harihar Singh – Shining Legacy of the Year – GIAA 2026

At the age of 75+, he has overcome challenges that would have seemed impossible to most. In the year 2000, he suffered a severe brain stroke that resulted in paralysis, and doctors predicted that he would never walk again. Undeterred, he fought back through sheer willpower, rigorous rehabilitation, and unwavering determination to regain his mobility.

His journey of perseverance continued as he successfully battled stomach cancer, underwent major surgery, and later survived a complex five-graft bypass heart surgery. Yet, he refused to let adversity define him.

From 2005 onward, he dedicated himself to fitness, regularly jogging 10 kilometers daily and participating in marathons. Even today, he continues to inspire others through his extraordinary achievement of combining long-distance running with Kapalbhati breathing techniques, earning recognition from the World Records of India and admiration from people across the country.
