Vadodara, Gujarat is home to an inspiring differently-abled woman who is not only a skilled engineer but also actively contributes to social service, environmental protection, and adventurous missions. Shaila Dharmik actively participates in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, contributing to the cleanliness of office premises and electrical substations. On June 8, 2023, Shaila and her husband Paresh Dharmik successfully climbed the Khardung La Pass (18,380 feet), becoming the first differently-abled couple in India to achieve this feat. Their adventurous mission supported the Swachh Bharat (Clean India) and Sugamya Bharat (Accessible India) campaigns.
